That's funny how this meta element is still used by participants in this SEO contest: looking at other contestants pages, their meta keywords element are stuffed with words related to casinos online and other online gambling expressions. That's something that was working during the last century but today all serious SEOs have stopped using this tag: it does not provide any ranking advantage.

The Playonline page has disappeared from the SERPs, and Isa is back on the leading position, but my own page is now in second position. I'm not sure that I will be able to enter within the first 100 results before November, 15 but I really hope so. A second position would be great. The first position would be greater.

is an SEO contest organized by ACF on search engine google.co.uk. The purpose of the contest is to get the best position possible in the search results of google.co.uk for a search on terms casinos online. It does not mean getting to the first position, but to a better position than other registered participants. To be eligible for a price, the page must at least appear among the first 100 positions

Start date

the contest started officialy on July the 15th, 2008. It was supposed to last until September the 15th, 2008, but as no participant was eligible (not within the fist 100 results), it has been delayed until October the 15th, and could be delayed again and again (November the 15th, December the 15th) until 3 participants get qualified and declared the winners. As a search request on casinos online returns around 9,990,000 results, it could well become a never ending challenge, unless the organizators decide to call it off.
